counting down the days...

so here i am...5 days from my first romp in se asia and there is soooo much to do...some of it is coming along fabulously and some has knocked me down a few pegs...

example, i just reserved an amazing bungalow on serendipity beach in southern cambodia called cloud 9...private bungalow with my own deck that has a hammock and a view of the beach...amazing, breathtaking place that is surprisingly inexpensive...i could not be more excited

only to find out that i can not take a bus from phnom penh to siem reap in the evening...i don't know why i thought that i would be able to catch a bus whenever i wanted...it's not that way in the states either but for some reason i believed that it could be done....well, it can't...and now the exploring of Angkor might be cut down a little...

i guess that's always the way travel goes...the unexpected leads you astray and sometimes that's the best thing that could have ever happened
